About Beijing National Accounting Institute
Beijing National Accounting Institute (NAI) was built on July 20, 1998, approved by State Council of China, supervised by the Ministry of Finance and supported by Tsinghua University in terms of teaching administration.
The NAI is a further accounting education and training base for the senior administrative staff and accountants from macroeconomic administration departments of the government, state-owned large-scale enterprises, financial institutes and social agencies across China. Meanwhile, it also offers Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) degree education.
The president takes responsibility of NAI affairs and is supervised by a directorate which is composed of the Ministry of Finance, the Central Organization Department, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Personnel, the People’s Bank of China, the National Audit Office, the State Administration of Taxation, China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Banking Regulatory Commission, Beijing Municipal Government, Shanghai Municipal Government, Fujian Provincial People’s Government, Xiamen Municipal Government, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Finance, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Finance, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Shanghai University of Finance & Economics. The minister of the Ministry of Finance presides the directorate. The NAI is composed of the General Office, the Department of Training, the Teaching and Research Center, the Information Center, the General Affairs Department and the Preparatory Office of Distance Learning.
NAI is located at Tianzhu Development Area, Shunyi district, Beijing city, with Capital Airport Highway to the east and Jingshun Road to the west. It’s 3 kilometers from Beijing Capital International Airport and 16 kilometers from Dongzhimen. The NAI covers over 1.3 million square meters with 70,000 square meters construction area. The facilities include various separate buildings such as general teaching building, library, information center, conference center, student entertainment center, gymnasium, student apartments, expert residential apartments, dining hall, etc. Over 1,000 students can study here simultaneously. NAI is a typical digitized campus with top-class modern infrastructure for teaching, administration and information.
