Distance education in Beijing National Accounting Institute has been officially started since 2004. After more than ten years of development, there are courseware resources available for nearly 600 topics at present, amounting to about 2000 hours. The content covers seven major subjects: accounting, auditing, taxation, management, asset evaluation, finance and miscellaneous. The curriculum closely follows the new situation of the reform of the accounting industry, and takes the lead to offer topical Wechat courses according to the variety of levels and different industry backgrounds of participants. The topical Wechat courses can meet the training needs of personnel in different positions such as accounting, finance and management in enterprises and administrative institutions, and provide customized courses for students at different levels and dimensions.

Beijing National Accounting Institute has basically built up a nationwide distance education system, covering students not only from across China but from Britain, the United States and other countries. The Institute has successful experiences in cooperating with many provincial (municipal) financial departments (bureaus), trade associations, large and medium-sized enterprises and institutions, and overseas institutions to carry out distance education. Nowadays, the business scope of distance education has extended to the management accountant program, the online continuing education program for accounting professionals, the online continuing education program for CPAs and CPVs, the online Open Course program, the customized training program for government institutions, large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises/institutions and financial institutions, and the blended training program for leading accounting professionals.

  • The Online Open Course Program

    Based on the abundant resources of teachers and the rich experiences accumulated in the delivery of open courses for many years, BNAI has formed a full set of scientific and extensive open curriculum system to meet the training requirements of financial and accounting professionals of different levels and industries, aiming at improving the quality and professional level of financial professionals in an all-round way, taking high-end leadership as the basis, and focusing on new trends, new policies and new businesses.   The Open courses include professor-in-charge training programs in which BNAI professors take the lead in organizing instructors, designing the course framework and developing topical training for various industries.

    (1) International Mutual Recognition

    Those who have obtained the certificate of "Senior Management Accountant" from Beijing National Accounting Institute will be exempted from the examination of 11 subjects at the basic, operational and management levels of CGMA/CIMA in the examination of "CGMA/CIMA Senior Management Accounting Diploma (Ad. Dip. MA)".

    (2) Fast Track for the Accounting Leading Talents Candidates

    A. The candidates who have obtained the prefectural and municipal level certificates for leading financial and accounting professionals can be exempted from learning the courses for intermediate management accountants and directly sit in the national uniform examination of intermediate management accountants. The trainees who have passed the afore-said examination can obtain the certificates for intermediate management accountants.

    B. The candidates who have obtained the provincial and ministerial level certificates for leading financial and accounting professionals can be exempted from learning the courses for senior management accountants and directly sit in the national uniform examination of senior management accountants. The trainees who have passed the afore-said examination can obtain the certificates for senior management accountants.

    (3) The Credit Bank

  • Continuing Education Program for Accounting professionals

    Since 2008, BNAI has entered into the continuing education market for accounting professionals. On the basis of the unique policy advantage and faculty advantage, the Institute has designed different training systems for different levels of accounting personnel by using two dimensions, horizontal (knowledge system) and vertical (accounting professional level).
