To fully implement the requirements for establishing a sustainable disclosure standards system, Beijing National Accounting Institute organized a special training session on ISSB standards overview and technical explanations on June 16,2025. Ye Kangtao, President of the Institute, attended and delivered a welcome speech. Sue Lloyd, Vice Chair of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), served as the keynote speaker, while Zhang Zhengwei, Special Advisor to the ISSB Chair and Director of the Beijing Office, participated in the training session. The training was chaired by Leng Bing, a member of the ISSB Council. The session covered key concepts and challenges of ISSB standards, aiming to enhance enterprises' ability to disclose sustainability-related financial information. Nearly 200 senior executives and professionals from overseas listed companies, financial institutions, state-owned enterprises, and the Big Four accounting firms jointly participated in the event. The training holds significant implications for building a China-characteristic sustainable disclosure standards system, actively aligning with international standards, serving domestic governance, and guiding long-term capital.
