On July 4, the Institute successfully hosted a seminar on the new standards issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). Mr. Jianqiao Lu and Mr. Nick Anderson, members of the IASB, together with technical staff Ms. Luanna Hasegawa, introduced the main contents of IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements and IFRS 19 Subsidiaries without Public Accountability: Disclosures.
The seminar provided a valuable opportunity for accounting professionals in China to stay informed about the ongoing reforms and latest developments of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and to deepen their understanding of global best practices in financial reporting.
