With the start of its graduate program in 2002, Beijing National Accounting Institute (BNAI) became one of China's pioneering institutions offering professional master's degrees in accounting. Since 2012, BNAI has independently enrolled students for professional master's programs in accounting and auditing. Over more than a decade of development, it now offers four professional master's degree programs in accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance, having admitted over 2,000 students through independent enrollment and awarded master's degrees to more than 1,500 graduates.
In May 2018, BNAI was accredited as an A-level member institution under the MPAcc quality certification system, and in December 2023, it successfully maintained its AAPEQ accreditation.
BNAI's graduate education program fully implements the Party's educational policies and fulfills the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education. It integrates ideological and political education, professional ethics development, and professional competence enhancement in a cohesive manner, prioritizing quality to establish a distinctive brand for high-quality graduate education.
Throughout its education processes, BNAI has developed a graduate education model oriented toward industry needs, focused on practical skill development, and grounded in industry-academia-research collaboration. By enhancing case-based teaching, organizing discipline-specific case competitions, strengthening laboratory instruction, implementing a dual-supervisor system, and advancing joint training partnerships with employers, the programS continuously strengthen graduates' applied practical capabilities while consistently improving educational quality and employer satisfaction.
While maintaining its focus on connotative development, BNAI has steadily advanced its extension-oriented growth in graduate education, continuously enhancing both the quality and scale of its international cooperative programs. Current overseas initiatives include the Master's program in IT Auditing and Cybersecurity jointly offered with Temple University in the United States; the Master of science program in Intelligent Accounting and Financial Technology Applications with City University of Hong Kong; and the Executive Doctoral Program in Business Administration (EDBA) developed in collaboration with Université Paris Dauphine–PSL.
