On 18 December 2025, the IFRS Foundation held its Global Capacity Building Partners Call, bringing together partners worldwide to exchange experience in sustainability capacity building. Beijing National Accounting Institute (BNAI) participated online through representatives from its Financial Talent & Think Tank Management Center and Teaching & Research Center. Associate Professor Wang Yaxing shared the Institute's progress in sustainability capacity building.
As one of the first institutions accredited as an ISSB Global Capacity Building Partner in November 2024, BNAI has strengthened its engagement with the global sustainability community. Wang highlighted the Institute's work in four areas: talent development, international collaboration, policy research, and knowledge dissemination.
BNAI has established ESG training programmes, jointly launched dual-certification programmes with ACCA, and delivered international training for professionals from emerging economies. It also works closely with the ISSB, ADB, AIIB, and other international organizations, hosts high-level sustainability forums, supports China's sustainability disclosure standards, publishes research reports, and promotes ESG knowledge through public outreach.
The Institute's practices were well received by participants. BNAI also exchanged views with global partners on sustainability standards, climate-related disclosure, and the TNFD framework. Going forward, the Institute will continue to connect global standards with Chinese practice and contribute to sustainability capacity building worldwide.
