Fei HAN is an Associate Professor, and currently Department Head of Auditing, at Beijing National Accounting Institute (BNAI) which is affiliated with Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China. Her teaching and research interests focus on the accounting, auditing, internal control and risk management in both public and private sector organizations. Professor Han has provided data and evidence to policy formulation, implementation, and monitoring in areas such as financial reporting, budgeting, internal control, Public-Private Partnership and sustainable development, as well as training and consulting service to related parties.
Born in China, she holds a B.S. in Finance from Fudan University in 2000. She came to the United States to earn her M.S. in Statistics and Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Prior to her academic career, Professor Han worked in public accounting at Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Shanghai, China.
